An electric replica of the SA-J05 J-series assault carbine with a factory-installed Gate Aster V3 system, modeled after popular Kalashnikov designs. The replica was made of steel, metal and plastic. The steel parts include the barrel, lock chamber cover, outer barrel, trigger guard, magazine catch, selector wing, gas tube, exhaust device, pin barrel, notch, and pins and rivets. On the other hand, plastic was used for the flask, pistol grip, bed with gas tube overlay, and magazine.
The replica uses ESA's quick-change spring system, which allows the performance to be easily adjusted to the type of gameplay without the need to access specialized tools and without disassembling the gearbox. An M90 spring is included, which allows the factory firing rate of 390 fps to be lowered to 310 fps, making the replica suitable for short-range or indoor operations. The rifle has been fully adapted to work with LiPo once LiFe type batteries.
At the heart of the replica is a reinforced Orion V3 gearbox with 7mm bearings, a polymer piston with a full steel jaw, an aluminum double-sealed cylinder head, an aluminum double-sealed piston head with bearings, a bearing-mounted spring guide and a set of steel gears. The strength of the components allows operation with springs up to M140. High accuracy and range are provided by a metal Hop-Up chamber with Helium Flat Hop rubber and a 6.03mm aluminum precision barrel. The discharge device is mounted on a barrel ending in a 24mm CW/14mm CCW thread.
The SA-J05 assault carbine is equipped with the Gate Aster V3 system providing a number of functions that allow customizing the replica to the shooter's preferences.
The model is equipped with an optics mount known as "Swallow Tail", typical for AK-type rifles. It allows the attachment of collimators and scopes designed for AKs. The SA-J05 is also equipped with a telescopic buttstock, which allows the user to adjust its length to his preferences.
The replica comes with two mid-cap S-MAG magazines with a capacity of 130 rounds in 6mm caliber, and the magwell spacer used makes it easy to replace them. The replica is adapted to connect a battery with a DEANS/T-connect plug or after using an adapter with a Tamiya small plug (included).
