Electric replica of the popular M249 machine gun. The replica is made of steel, aluminum alloy and plastic.
Aluminum alloy was used to make the flash hider, front sight base, outer barrel, radiator, trigger and the breech chamber cover with the base of rear sight and the stock. Steel was used to make the body as well as the most critical parts such as the bipod, all pins, the transport handle, the barrel change mechanism, the radiator cover and the trigger guard. Plastic material was used to make the pistol grip, the outer part of the stock, the handguard and part of the transport grip.
The replica uses a quick-change spring system. This allows you to quickly and efficiently adjust the power of the replica to the conditions expected on the field of play without the need to have access to a workshop or a number of specialized tools.
The rifle has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries. With a base initial discharge velocity of ~400 FPS, the replica is perfectly suited for medium range operations.
A steel folding bipod is mounted on the barrel of the replica. The standard flash hider is seated on a 14-millimeter left-hand thread, which allows to attach a sound suppressor in its place.
Inside the rifle you will find a set steel gears set on 8 mm ball bearings and a mainspring M120 on a bearing guide. In addition piston with steel jaw and rotating Hop-Up chamber.
The rifle comes with an electric Box-type magazine with a capacity of 2,500 rounds. It is powered by two AA batteries. The magazine operates in automatic or Sound Control mode. The rifle is also compatible with traditional magazines from AR15 (STANAG).
