John Lee Zaza Iaito Wakizashi

Zaza is the Japanese word for bamboo. Because of its straight form and its fresh green color it’s the symbol for growth and purity. In Japanese culture it’s also known as a symbol for fortune.

The light and well-balanced blade is forged out of stainless 420 steel without being sharpened. The hilt is wrapped with black cotton completed with original ray skin in traditional style. The decorations on the sword (Tsuba, Fuchi, Kashira, Menuki) show themes of bamboo. The black, highly polished sheath is decorated with golden leafs of bamboo as well and knotted with high-class bi-colored Sageo. The ends of the sheath are made of finest buffalo horn.

The sword will be delivered in a collector's box with a printed cloth bag, seal and certificate.
