To start the luminescence process, bend the stick with the thumbs of both hands until the inner vial breaks, and then shake. What follows is a combination of chemicals that, using the phenomenon of luminescence, produce light of a certain color, depending on the dye. This phenomenon is unique in that no heat is generated during the entire process.
