Plumbata, Roman Dart, Short Version

The Plumbata, also called Mattiobarboli , was a short and light throwing dart used in ancient times up to the middle ages. The length and shape of the tip of plumbatae often varied. This replica features a blunt barbed iron spike, which is attached to the wooden shaft along with the weight.
